Key roles and responsibilities

• Technical bid evaluation for E&I items like Motor, Instruments, Control Panel, Junction boxes etc and preparation of comparison sheets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process, Mechanical) to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including Single line diagrams, system architecture, termination drawings, cable tray
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Review Cable Tray layouts.
• Flow nozzle, orifice plate sizing.
• Preparation of I/O list, Instrument Index, C&ED, Control Philosophy, load list.
• FAT of MCC, PLC etc.
• Recommend and implement energy-saving and efficiency-improvement measures.
• Provide technical support for maintenance and repair activities.
• Participate in project kick off meetings and have a proper understanding of the scope of work.as well as project / client specifications.
• Preparation of data sheets for instrument equipment and packages.
• Issue of Material Requisitions for procurement.
• Issue Technical bid recommendation for placing orders.
• Know-how of SIL / LOPA study.
• Review of vendor documentation and coordinate with other disciplines for inter-disciplinary reviews.
• Client interaction as and when required for approval of vendor documents.
• Review of final documentation and vendor data dossiers.
• Support proposals for technical reviews and costing.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electrical engineering with 10-12 years’ experience predominantly for RTO systems.
• Knowledge testing requirements will be added as an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of combustion systems, heat recovery, and air flow dynamics.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, local air quality standards).
